Theodora Doulamis is an artist and exhibition designer specializing in design for museums. With over a decade of experience, she has designed more than 20 temporary and permanent exhibitions for cultural institutions throughout North America. She has a strong creative vision and a thorough knowledge of museum practices and conservation standards.
Currently the exhibition designer at the Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto), Theodora previously held the role at the Detroit Institute of Arts (Detroit). She began designing exhibitions at Americas Society Art Gallery (New York) where she served as gallery manager. She has held positions in exhibition coordination at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (Montréal) as well as Storefront for Art and Architecture (New York). She is on the Board of Directors of independent art press Minerva Projects (New York).
She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (New York) as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and Art History from Concordia University (Montréal).
